Jimmy Buffett Guitars

Post by JMUparrothead »

Buffett was featured in a real cool ad for martin guitars in Guitar One magazine last month, but I didnt have 5 extra bucks to buy the mag so I'm trying to find a picture of it somewhere. it shows the guitar that played a pirate looks at forty in 74' leaning against a palm tree. I cant find it anywhere, it was a great ad. Does anyone know where I can find it or atleast what guitars Jimmy prefers to use most of the time?

He pretty much always uses Martin acoustics. He's had three signature versions. The first is no longer available. The other two are pretty dern hard to come by.

Shellback (this is the one I usually see him with)

He also usually plays Paul Reed Smith electrics.
