Do tickets ever go on sale early

In the past I've seen tickets go on sale early. How and when do they go. Or is it just a fluke. I've been lucky to get tickets for most of the shows that I want to go to, But I want to sit in really good seats, and I don't want to sell a lung to do it.

for the san jose and anaheim shows, ticket master charged $126 for the chance to buy tickets a few days before they went on sale to the average fan. tickets for the average fan cost $76.

They go on sale either to season ticket holders. So if you want to fork down the $$$$ you can get an early chance at them.

I'd pay that. Its better than $400+ for good seats from a broker!!

I'd be willing to pay $$$ if it went to a good cause, habitat for humanity, or some other good cause. Maybe J B will do that... lets see what happens..

dave, someday i will be happy to help you buy tix from somebody who is not a broker and willing to sell at face value or slightly above that.

Thanks mason....lol! The broker situation stinks. Unfortunately, its a sure way to get tix for an out of town show before making plane and hotel reservations. :(
