Tried them the other night...they were very good for frozen shrimp; nice size to them and a good taste

Yes, They are very good. I suggest following the recipe on the back and adding a few ingredients. They taste much better, with some "extras" thrown in. The Jerk shrimp and Coconut shrimp are mighty tasty as well.

They're not bad. Very tangy and "citrusy." I've had better, but I've certainly had much worse.

I would also add some other ingredients/seasonings and serve it over some rice.

I had some friends over a couple of weeks ago and made dinner and used the lime shrimp with pasta and had some other island flavored dishes and the shrimp were very good. Everybody liked them. I would give them a 7 out of 10. I have a box a jerk shrimp in the freezer that I might make this weekend. Hope they are atleast as good or better.

Ok, I gotta ask - In here I've seen jerk chicken and jerk shrimp mentioned on several occasions. What the heck is it?

Jerk is a style of cooking made famous in Jamaica and used in the rest of the caribbean. It is a great flavoring made as either a marinade or a rub on chicken or shrimp or pork. You can buy it in most grocery stores. It is basically made with spices like allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, thyme and a few other spices. I will sometime chop jalapeno peppers into mine just for something additional.

Thank you. Now I know, and as G.I. Joe would say "knowing is half the battle".

Food Lion carries a good kind. The brank is World Harbor's Blue Mountain. It's over with catsup and bbq sauce and things of that nature.

Two points: I do a lot of "jerk" dishes, my favorite is the Walkerswood brand made in Jamacia. It's generally avaiable in grill and "pepperhead" shops.
A better way to do lime shrimp is to maranide the biggest shrimp you can find in a margarita for 10 to 12 minutes then grill for 2 to 3 per side. JOHN

i've been wanting to try the shrimp, but now I think i'll pass. If I'm going to pay 15. for a box of seasoned shrimp I don't want to have to doctor them up. I can do that myself. Maybe I might try the coconut, since I doubt there's any extra they need.

Saw some Margaritaville Shrimp in the Gurnee, IL Sam's Club for the 1st time over the weekend... asked them if they've ever dated a shirt.

They had the Jerk and Island Lime. Freezer's too full at the moment to buy them, but I will next time.
