Looky at what I found:

http://www.1concerttickets.com/concert- ... ckets.html

http://www.buyselltix.com/searchTickets.php

http://www.eventinventory.com/search/re ... &year=2004

This is just 3. There are at least 100 on yahoo. I wonder how they get all these tickets before Ticketbastard put them on sale.

Hey, has anyone EVER bought 100 section tickets from Ticketbastard? all of these bokers have tickets in the first 10 rows!

Not since the early 90s and not for a JB show. I was in 101, Row G for Neil Young.

Through looking through all these scalping sites in the past, it appears that they are all interconnected in one way or another. I think there are a couple thousand people out there that work for these jacka$$es. Some have special access to tickets and some don't but with all of them out there some of them are bound to get good seats. then they turn around and put up what they got and they appear on all these different sites. That's just my theory, I'm not sure how it actually works..

Some of them are, but I talked to a broker out of Atlanta during the "Far Side" tour about tickets. He said his company bought half of section 201 & 202. That is one whole section bought out by just one broker!

If I was Jimmy, I would be p*** off. He not making any profit off of the brokers. Only the brokers are. And not just a little profit, but $100 to $1000 profit.

I always use ticketmaster.com and I've gotten tickets in the first 10 rows for 5 or 6 different shows. Just last week I got 3 in the 3rd row for Charlotte.

Not to open a can of worms but the only reason ticket brokers stay in business is because people are willing to pay those prices. I can afford to but I'd rather not go to a concert than pay a broker $500 for a $60 or $70 ticket. Just my opinion.

Unfortunately yes.. I wish I could be one of those folks that stands by their values and will miss a show to avoid going through them, but I can't. I've bought tickets at triple the price for 2 shows and they always arrive very quickly and as advertised....

I was in line at Publix and drew #19 in the lottery. :( Luckily Rick drew the first spot in his line.

So what is up with all the reserved seating costing $86.00? Last I checked the price went down the farther you were from the stage.

You can't forget one thing. There are thousands of season ticket holders to these venues and arena's. They get a schedule of who is coming that year, sometimes before we know. If they don't want to use the seats they own, they sell them. And I'm sure many of them sell them to these brokers. That's how many of them put them on ebay BEFORE the actual sale date.

I understand how you guys feel. We go through that same senerio every time he's in Detroit. First in line gets lawn and then we're done. The sell out time goes down every year. Last year I think they said it was about a minute.

You guys are lucky in Tampa. Checked for a single ticket the day after sale and there was still one left!!! Don't know what gives, but I agree it's not a fair process. If you're first in line you'd expect somewhere in the front of the pavillion!!!

I hate those scalpers more than ticketmaster. PLEASE do not buy from those people and encourage them to keep up. I am sure (based on last year) that you can find tickets the day of the show at the lot from other parrotheads that need to dump a ticket or two because a friend bailed. Last year we turned down MANY of them!

I just received my e-tickets. Two lawn and two reserved. The reserved, in sec 203 row HHH is labled "uncovered seat." I was unaware these seats are uncovered because they certainly were the same price as the "covered" seats!!!

$86 plus fees = $97.93 for a seat that is uncovered and real close to the lawn!!

Still glad I was lucky enough to get tickets, tho.

Argh! Wish you had gotten it. You could have had my sec 202 seat plus cash for it!

What row in 202 are you in? You can join the "crappy seat conga line" with Rick's group and I ;)

Cuervo is one of my best friends. He gave that seat up before he knew you might want it and did it to sit with us who already had his ticket! :D

So, I guess when you get to the show and someone says, "Why do you have such crappy seats" you can say it was Cuervo's fault!

I have to buy from scalpers every year because I never get tickets. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when we didn't get any this morning. I have never had a bad experience getting them from a scalper. Once again I will be getting them off eBay. I have already found mine and am about to purchase them. Good Luck Bamafan & ROLL TIDE!!!!!

I want to re-emphasize something. If you buy from these people, whether on Ebay or whatever, you are just encouraging them to continue to steal tickets and screw people over on a fair price. I would just about gurantee you that you can buy a ticket from a Parrothead that has extras from friends that back out beforehand or the day of the show at the parking lot. We have never failed to buy an add on person a ticket that way. Also, realize some people's credit cards will be declined so check back with Ticketbastard (not that these people are much better than scalpers) every day AND be sure to check the day before and the day of the show often.

12V I appreciate your moral standards. I'm just not that strong. I want tickets and I want to know I have a seat. Especially this year. My Brother who got me hooked on Buffett when I was 13 is coming up for this one and bringing his wife & daughter & her friend and we are taking our daughter & son - so we need 8 seats together. I can't wait till the last minute and hope someone has a ticket. Besides I am too much of a planner for that.
What gets to me is that we can't get more than 8 tickets together, and we have to wait until they actually go on sale. Those same rules need to apply to brokers too. Then we could all stand a chance to get tickets. I do not blame the brokers - they are just making a living - I blame Ticketmaster for not enforcing the rules for everyone!!!!!!
