How tall is Jimmy?

Post by One Particular Cheesehead »

I was just browsing some JB pics online and I came across JB and Alan Jackson winning their award on the CMAs. Does anyone know how tall Jimmy Buffett is? Is he short or is Alan Jackson tall, or both?

Signed,
Just wondering
Tell me where do we go from here?
Think I'll ride into Leadville and have a few beers.

He's not that tall... I'm 6' and he was significantly shorter than me... 5' 6" - 7" maybe?

But Jackson *IS* real tall too... I think I read 6'4" or so... but I'm doing that from memory so I could be way off.

Thanks, Lee.

Not that it really matters, because from my annual lawn seats at Alpine Valley, Jimmy is about 6 mm tall..

I think you're right about AJ, Lee.
He's 6'4, or somewhere right around there.

IMDB says AJ is 6'4", for what that's worth.

No listing for JB's height there. "It's a mist'ry."

Funny you guys bring this up.. I just got done reading the short story Jimmy wrote in Sports Illustrated( which was very good), and my wife and I noticed the picture of him in the beginnning of the article.. We thought he did look really short, but god does he look good for being 57 years old. I could olny hope to look that good at 57....

At the benefit concert in 2002 for Tim White of Billboard, it was so cute: Jimmy and James Taylor (also very tall) standing next to each other during the group sing at the end. JT was holding the mic and he kept reaching down with it to Jimmy! I thought that was nice of him to do that. It was cute and funny!
