Has on-line ticket buying become a spelling bee?
I like the fact that TM is making it harder for tickets
to be scarfed up by ticket-buying machines, but are
those really words they have us spell back to them
from the squiggly, grid-filled box?
What are the weirdest words they've had you type?
I just got:
cotise - A diminutive of the bendlet, containing one half its area or one quarter the area of the bend. huh???
flobert - A small cartridge designed for target shooting.
listel - A limit or boundary; a border.
and
mustang - finally, one I recognize!

I agree; those words are words that I had never heard of! But, my biggest problem was that I could not see the words. They were obscured so by all the decoration. I know at least three times in the past two weeks as I've been logging on to get tickets, I had to retype the words.

Words? Those were really words? And here I thought I was just stooopid.
I had something that looked like "Garfrinh". Maybe it's just because I was half awake at the time, but maybe it's a real word. Hmmmmm.

If you take the 3rd letter of every 5th word it spells "Ticketmaster is Satan"

I always forget to turn off my firewall, so no pics come up. You can only imagine how happy that makes me when I have to log back on and pray tickets are still available.

I have trouble when I try and buy tickets and type in the words I think it's going to say rather than what it really says.
