Where is everyone gonna plan on partying before and after the Minneapolis show? I live about 17 mins from the Target Center and bartend across the street at Gameworks in Block E.(not on May 20th) so lets get a good BN group to meet up somewhere.....any suggestions?

Gluek's was hopping in 01 for the concert.
The parking lots were packed with Parrotheads.
I hit all the bars before hand and had a blast espc. in Old Chicago.
Walked out with a Corona bucket on my head.

Target Center Question

First of all, this will be my very first Buffett concert so I want to have an awesome time. I'll be driving in from out of town so want to know where the real phinheads will be partying before the show. Second, I feel lucky that I managed to snag a pair of tickets in section 211 row K, because just minutes later you couldn't get a nosebleed seat. Now 211 doesn't look bad, considering i could be behind the stage. Then, for kicks and grins last Sunday night, I logged back into ticketmaster and found two more tickets in section 229 row M, which is closer to the stage. However, there was some warning about obstructed view, elevated seating. Anyone familiar with the Target center and can tell me if the tix in 229 really are better than the ones in 211? At any rate, see you in a matter of days. Just let me know where the "real" party is!!!

coming from out of town (edmonton, canada) for the show as well...came to minnie to see him in '01, was in section 227, row V. Seats were listed as 'Behind stage' however they weren't too bad. I actually got seats in 211, Row B this show, it looks to be a little better. As for 229, my feeling is the 211's will give you a better 'full on' view as opposed to looking across the stage from the side...just one parrothead's opinion.

Hey North (btw, I've been to Edmonton several times.... and outside of it making Minneapolis seem like the tropics in the winter, it's a damn nice town). Anyway, thanks for the info. I was quite happy with section 211 but saw the tix in 229 and my thought was that it's at least a little closer. I've never been to the Target Center. Some venues I've been to have steep seating and you get this great view right over the stage. Some are shallow and the upper levels make you feel that you are a mile away.

I still want to know where everyone is partying before the show. Anyone having a tailgate party before the show?

47 days to go!

Hey guys,
Anybody interested in taking our friend Junior Mint Palm to the Minneapolis show? If so jump in on this thread - http://www.buffettnews.com/forum/viewto ... highlight=

We'd like to get him to as many shows as possible, and at this point no one from Minneapolis has volunteered. Thanks!

Anyone Else coming from SF?
