Wow!
I have to laugh as I read these posts. And laugh for a variety of reasons. When I thought about attending my 15th show, I thought "wow, I'm nuts. That's a lot of concerts and a lot of margaritas. And money" Then I see you guys and gals posting having attended 40, 50 shows. Now that's nuts! But I'm jealous.
And for the rest of us saying, "I've only attended 13" or "I've only attended X number," stop and think about what you are saying. A lot of people never ever get to see their favorite artists. What if you were a Buffett fan in Yellowknife, Canada? Making it to one concert in your life would be gift from the Tiki Gods. My point is that is still a hell of a LOT of shows.
And some artists don't even tour enough to give you the opportunity to see them more than once or twice in a lifetime. A big THANK YOU to Jimmy for all the shows and the relentless touring over the years.
And for those of you going for the first time...WELCOME to the circus, er party!

The first Deer Creek show...
The first Deer Creek show on my list is more than a little fuzzy.
I heard I was in town. If not for the ticket stub, I would have no proof.
Needless to say, it doesn't rank as one of my favorites.

Ok, you can cross off a few of mine too. Especially the Charlotte Coliseum one. Got to Jocks & Jills early enough to get seats at the bar (great opportunity, big mistake). I don't usually drink Corona, personally I think it's like making love in a canoe (it's f***ing close to water), I prefer a german brew. But alas the Coronas were cheap and flowing and one beer led to another, someone stole the food we ordered and yada, yada, yada... I do remember being told to sit down a few times. The actual quote was "Could you sit down, we paid good money for these seats". Sit down at a Buffett show? I think they thought it was a John Tesh or Barney show or something.

How many? I don't freakin' know!!!! I suppose a few corona's, a few margarita's, pop in a CD, and I might remember them all.... I do know I have seen Jimmy in:
New York (MSG)
Mansfield x 3 or 4 (brain-cells... RIP)
Baltimore x 2 (now, what was her name?)
Pittsburgh
Tampa
Orlando
I have an eerie feeling I'm forgetting somewhere.....
I Have the video from Miami that he put out a while back ('by the bay' or something like that) ... does that count?

One a year, every year since '90
14 shows and counting:
Milwaukee, Summerfest 3
Alpine Valley 9
Tinely Park, IL 1
Indy 1
Best show? Hard to say...Based on the weather, probably Alpine in 1998.
I just wish I could remember a bit more of the show each year!!

Tell me where do we go from here?
Think I'll ride into Leadville and have a few beers.

Interesting topic. I sat down and figured it out one time about 8 years ago and I've been keeping track ever since. My best guess is that I've been to 58 shows since 1979. Tampa will be 59 and Nissan will be 60 unless he decides to throw Orlando in at the last minute. I used to be a site selector for a national company and they let me pick the markets I "needed" to look at. It just so happened that the Fruitcakes tour happened to be in every market I looked at that summer....8 in all! Here are some of the venues I actually remember:
Miami Marine Stadium
Miami Jai Alai Fronton
Gusman Cultural Center in Miami
Sunrise Musical Theatre in Fort Lauderdale
Coral Sky in West Palm
Kravits Center in West Palm
Orlando Arena
Lakewood Amphetheatre in Atlanta
Georgia Dome
Charlotte
Greensboro
Raleigh
Meriweather
Nissan
Houston
Dallas
Las Vegas
25 years of shameless entertainment and I still get excited out of my phlip phlops!

The Atlanta show will be my 20th, my first was second show '95 and haven't missed stop here since. I've been to four shows: Nashville (Feb 99, best actual JB concert), Dallas (April 00), Ft Lauderdale (Feb 01) and January's Anaheim show.
My third JB show was my
episode; I was one of those guys sleeping on the lawn. But I awoke by intermission.
My third JB show was my
so much to see waiting in front of me
