Columbus info needed

We're thinking of adding Columbus to our list of stops this year. The thing is that we've never been there. Can someone
non-biased with experience tell me what the lot is like? We travel with a pretty big rig and setup and it would be a real bummer to drive there and find out we can't get in till 4 or 5 oclock. Will they let big rigs with a couple tons of sand set up and blast music? Here's what Cincy lets us do....

Some places are picky about a lot of things...... where you park.... how much room you use.... spreading sand...... playing LOUD music... and most importantly, what time you can get in. It takes a couple hours to get the party zone set up, so gates at 4 and show at 7 won't work. PLease post input..... thanks.

I was just looking at the map today and thinking about this show myself....would be a good "celebration"..... wondering the same thing myself... It is a Saturday though, are you sure you can MAKE IT!!!

It was SD's idea actually. It would be a good weekend.... not a race weekend, so the Phinmobile is available....... before boating season, so no valuable "raft time" would be lost.

You two are trouble!! If it isn't one coming up with an idea, it's the other!
At least in my group, I am the only troublemaker..thank goodness...I do plenty of damage!!! I'm thinking that since Chicago is out for me this year, an alternative may be in order.......that is really soon though, don't know if I can pull it off or not......
Anyway, if you get any info, let me know....that is a LONG haul for us!
tough call...

This being the first summer show at Value City Arena, its hard to say what the parking lot experience is going to be like. Another problem is that you are dealing with TWO police departments - Ohio State University (remember, that's a city of 60,000+ people unto itself) and Columbus PD. With that said, everyone knows the parties that surround Ohio State football games are awesome. Counterpoint, they've really cracked down because of all the problems the past two years.
This question is a really tough one to answer - biased or non-biased.
