I've lurked around this site for some time but have now decided to become a card carrying member (or at least register). The exchange of info on this site is amazing.
What happened to the Alpine Valley show? For a while it was listed as 7/10/04 but it seems to have vanished. I make the trip every year and already have reservations etc. for this year. Did I miss something?

Im pretty sure Sheboygan is by the lake North of Milwaukee - if correct, I would guess an hour away at the most. If that's not where Sheboygan is, disregard this message!

Alpine is about an hour and a half from Sheboygan, and most of it is interstate highway...

To quote the great Yogi Berra, "I'll believe when I believe it!"
When that elusive "Alpine" appears, I'll believe.........

WIBA(Madison) radio station said today that tickets go on sale for the July 10th Buffett concert next Saturday.

Tickets go on sale sat 3/20. There won't be a presale, cause they only have one show. And they will always sellout. The scalpers

will try to have a field day. So our best bet is buy as many as we can so there will be less to scalp

Why the rampant skepticism? The show is July 10. There's obviously a strategy within the JB camp to not release the date yet for whatever reason... but there are too many people with too many good sources... the only date that's ever been suggested is July 10... so therefore I'm convinced. Onsale date is another subject though. I'm guessing th 27th...but admittedly, that's just a guess.

I agree the word Alpine is missing. The link is to a clear channel link and the only important infomation is the event ID#. For months people have been talking about Alpine being July 10th. Well here it is.

I can make it show up at all of the tweetercenters

The key is the event ID 78821, by changing the ID #, you can see another show. The WHO, who have not even announced a summer tour has an event ID. I just cannot tell you where they are playing
