Oh my gosh this show was absolutely amazing! I would not have replaced last night for the world! I knew every word to every song, and it hurts to talk almost 24 hours later! I was disappointed that I could not see any of you (I looked, seriously).
I also got a lot of compliments on my hat (a beachcomber with an 18" inflatable tiki god hot glued to the top
)
Thanks Jimmy!

Thursday was a great show indeed!!!
It's been a long four days since too!!! Sorry I missed you guys though, I looked for lanyards, BN tags, and windows painted with something BN .... no luck. I didn't get to travel all over the lots. I showed up at 6:00 .... saw no one gathering and thought .... How *ARE* you supposed to recognize another BN'r??? I saw a group of 4 who appeared to just be sitting, talking and waiting for the gates to open .... everyone else seemed to be looking for tickets or selling tickets.
A few photos of the concert are here ... the white Durango is us ..

Excellent pics.
Thanks to the wife, she smuggled in a camera and thinks she has some great pics of Jimmy from the second row. It was hard to take them with Jimmy's security there and we might have only gotten a few. Going to get them developed today and we will see. I'll be posting them if they turn out.
Also, this had to be the BEST show I have seen Jimmy perform in a long time..... Too bad I had to work Fri and Saturday night, I was ready for a repeat performance.

We must all be blind as bats!! I looked and looked for BN lanyards and wandered the area mentioned several times around 6 pm and after but finally gave up. We also wandered the parking lot and I didn't see the BN nametags nor the palm tree this year.
However we ate some MV shrimp and I got a temp tatoo while I was searching for you guys!

hhmmmmmmm ..... I did suggest the idea of exchanging cell phone #'s .... no one took me up on it. Maybe next time??
Who knows Nutmeg .... maybe you'll see me running around GR and recognize the license plate.
We did run across others from Michigan but none that new what 'Buffett News' was ....
I also ran across the people I sold my extra tickets to ... but we had exchanged cell #'s

Me and the wife had some shrimp too. We looked around while passing out lei's and disco balls. Next year I think a sign or the cell phone list is in order.
semitruths - from you pics it looked like you were in the same row as us, just at the other end. We were 5 to 8 cars down from the guy singing with the bean bag games set up in front of him.

We were the 21st car in that lot when the gates opened ..... which, by the way, was near 3:30 like last year ... (I like being right
BIG SIGN next year!!!!!

We didn't get out to the lot untill 6
. But we pre-partied at the hotel B4 heading out. Needless to say, we ended up in the back of the lot so we didn't try to make the meet-n-greet. I had a little trouble seeing by the time the show started so I honestly don't remember seeing any BN singns. Although some of those pics on semitru's page look a little familiar.

we were also in the first row - pulled in to the parking line while they were still turning cars away...........and then BAM - they opened the gates. probably one of the first 15 cars.
anyone do a beer bong with a bunch of younger guys? those were my brother and his buddies. they seemed to give more beer away than drink themselves................and they made it on to the big screen for about .5 seconds!

Cell numbers would have been a great help. I must have missed that part of the thread. NEXT YEAR we will be better organized parrotheads....semitruths wrote:hhmmmmmmm ..... I did suggest the idea of exchanging cell phone #'s .... no one took me up on it. Maybe next time??![]()

We spent some time in the Saugatuck/Holland area on our way home. Couple of nights in a B&B . Never been to that area of MI before. We had a great time, but it was as cold as the week we were camping in the UP

Never been to that area before .. huh? My mistake then, I figured 'the middle of the mitten' then you would have been close to GR. GR isn't really in the middle though I guess ...
The closest I've been to the 'middle' is Mt Pleasant ... (I've bought the Indians many blankets there ....
