In 2002 I stayed at the Best Western Barharbor in Massapequa on Sunrise about 10 mins away from JB, I just booked 2 days there this AM Fri-Sun. In 2002 the hotel was all Parrotheads good crowd. This year I would imagine it would be the same but being Labor day weekend book early. If enough book we should try get some kind of party/tailgate in the hotel lot Friday night by the pool.NYlandshark wrote:Does anybody know the best hotel around there to stay? Sounds good, I will be going with my brother again. We had a great time in 02 and looking forward to topping it this year. It's still 4 months away but it is something to look forward to even though it's at the end of the summer. Bar Harbor best western
For those of you staying there: Beware, I live around the corner, since your last stay the place is under construction (well over a year) the pool is gone and no patio or much parking. maybe it will be done, still 3 months to go, but it might be worth further investigation. some nice parks/picnic areas very close by i could reserve for fri night.
