No, straight up TM, and I didn't pay any extra for the delivery, just the free USPS. I was quite shocked myself :D

The Mrs and I will be there! Only JB show we are able to make, so we are excited.
We have tickets in hand, but paid the extra for 3 day delivery (about $14  ) since we don't trust TM's 48 hour before showtime claim when we have to travel.

Can't wait. I wish it was sooner. Haven't seen Jimmy in about a year. Gott love it when he plays 5 miles from the house.

Sounds like an open invite for drunken Parrotheads to pass out on your front lawn... 8)

Casa de NYCPORT will be hosting a party for all those still in the area on the Sunday after the Jones Beach show. Pop in your stunt livers and party for a second day with us.
We've got a lake for swimming and I think we might get some food and booze too. :D
We live a little over an hour North of NYC. Feel free to PM me with any questions and please do email me if you plan to come so I can make sure we have enough of everything.
See you on the 5th!

My wife gave me permission for one more show and this might be the one. I've never been to a Labor Day show. I thought about renting an RV since it's at a state park but I guess there are no camping facilities there. Is there a camground for RV's nearby or would it be better to get a hotel? Thanks for any feedback.
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

CAMPGROUND

Post by nyphishfan »

The closest campground open to the public is Battle Row Campground in Old Bethpage. Its 20 minutes or less to the Jones Beach Theater.
Best Western Hotel is sold out that weekend. Don't go by the picture of the hotel on their website, its under construction and the pool is filled in.

Nyphishfan is right... I called this morning and they confirmed that there will be NO pool at the Best Western :( :( SOOOO the question I pose to everyone that is staying there... Should I stay or find a place with a pool?? We're making a weekend of it and I figure the beach isn't to far away but I wanted others opinions..

That stinks no pool, oh well. The beach isn't to far away. I can't remember what other hotels are in the area but they are probably booked by now.

nyphishfan wrote:For those of you staying there: Beware, I live around the corner, since your last stay the place is under construction (well over a year) the pool is gone and no patio or much parking. maybe it will be done, still 3 months to go, but it might be worth further investigation. some nice parks/picnic areas very close by i could reserve for fri night.
Tony
I also live 5 mins from the motel..If anyone wants me to check it out and find out the deal for Labor Day pm me.

No, they would bite off the heads of bats and spit them on the front lawn. :o

No, they would bite off the heads of bats and spit them on the front lawn. :o
and of course, the property owner would liable for the rabies innoculations...

But either would still be preferable to drunken Michael Bolton fans passed out on the lawn
