Oh yeah- count me in on the Frankie and Lola thing, we always listened to that on vacation, and we always had to stop at several Walmarts on the way because we'd forgotten stuff, and got slurpees while we were in there.
When I found out the real lyrics, they made sense!!

A friend admitted recently that he thought Trying to Reason started out with "balls out on the ocean" I guess he'd seen a few too many beach balls at Buffett concerts. At least I hope that was what he was thinking!
Oh and until I read the above post I still thought that it was body guard fried!

OK, since we're being honest here. When I was but a 'keet in this mad mad parrothead world we live in, I remember singing CALL MY NAME instead of COME MONDAY. That's was a loooooong time ago.
But hey, singing CALL MY NAME to an arena full of beautiful women always worked for me too.

i did not read all the posts
...but two very recently
"corner of walk and don't walk" from Floridays (just learned that one tonight)
and "writing fan letters to Skye's niece Penny" I always thought was "disguising each penning" which never made any sense to me, but was revealed recently.
Never to old to learn something new.

For AQUAHOLIC...
Well, the lord made me on a long thin limb
Made sure I'd remember him
Or her in the middle of a long, dark night
Creation crazy, death sheet white
Made in the image of a lion shocked lamb
I am who the hell I am
Ever better, bad to worse
Down to the letter I'm a piece of work

Where's my per diem
Ladies and Gentlemen, the Coral Rhymer Band (this one has always thrown me)
Fingers gonna bat (I think this is where the confustion lies)
Hey, Bobby where're the keys to the rent-a-car
Jimmy, Jimmy, can I open the show in Atlanta, please
Ignore me, don't ever start a band
Hope that helps
Warning kinda fits there, I think.
(And i realize this was like 8 months ago.)
