Here in Peoria, Illinois, we have a great new park for minor league ball. They have imported real palm trees for the outfield and have a huge grassy knoll so families can have a picinic for just $5.00 for adults and kids are free, I think. It is right in downtown Peoria, so it has a wonderful view the skyline. I was lucky enough to go to the very first game with Pepsi and sit in their skybox right behind home plate. So much free food and free beer. Next game got to go with the Coors distributor, got to sit in their skybox as well, same free beer all night long. Although Wrigly is the best place to watch a game, O'Brian Field is ok by me for when I can't get to Chicago! I love this game!
Go Cubbies

PAWSOX!!!
$8.00 box seats vs $70 at Fenway (and those games are sold out, anyway....

)
or, for real purists..... the Newport Gulls of the Northeast Collegiate Baseball League. Playing with wooden bats... great stuff.....

we have the Bridgeprt Bluefish...awesome new stadium and not a bad seat in the house...and get this..reserved seats are $6!! Every friday night they have fireworks after the game! Not a Red Sox game mind you...but great none the less!

I could only listen on the radio as I was working...but the announcers sure had a field day tearing everyone apart...especially Manny!

Manny made a cocky, rookie, little-league mistake. "La-di-da, last out, just put my glove in the air and I got this one." Then he took his eye off the ball at the last second..... Ugly... cocky..... Back to fundamentals, hot-shots.....

I feel bad for Red Sox fans because of him. If they were "my team" I would have a seriously hard time cheering for Manny. He's worse than just arrogant and cocky... he has a superiority complex that he has no business having...
