All of the Cub fans the Pitching is going to be primo this year......
and now the other shoe drops. Dusty Baker is a small ball manager
was is and always will be. I saw Him have his 3 and 4 hitters
bunt a player over and this is the first inning. you need pitching
but I think even Cubbie Bear will agree if Dusty keeps small ball up
that great pitching is gonna need a ERA of about .1.45 to win
as many game as they should.. :o :o

Not a hater I know that my team is a large question mark ( OK extra large)
but I have always had a soft spot for the Cubs I'm just saying their skipper
is a small ball dude he wants a 3 1/2 hour game and the score to be like
1-2 or 2-3 no more than 3-5 He thinks somehow all that scoring is not needed in the game of Baseball and this is from interviews when He was the Giants Manager. I do wish you well but the truth is you need to score
runs in todays game and somedays lots of them .

The RED SOX will win it all this year. I don't know if all of you know but Jimmy's real reason for playing Fenway is to break the curse. :P :P

I'll paraphrase from today's Chicago Tribune...

A dude wrote in saying that despite the bolsterd pitching staff that without hitters the Cubs aren't going to be as good as everyone thinks they will. (which is a valid point, but arguable) The staff person at the Trib writes back that with Patterson, Sosa, Walker, Alou and Lee.. they'll be fine in the hitting dept... BUT... if anyone knows of a leadoff man... send one the Cubs way!!!

Ah I forgot and Alou in the line up another reason to root for the Cubs!!!

Did I tell you I got a Phone Call from Moisis Dad Felipe? He is the
Giants skipper!!!! OK I was at work and he was calling for his account
But I talked to him I did I did I did

Very cool-even if you were at work! I heard Dick Clark tell a story one time about a time when his wife was working as a secretary, and President Lyndon Johnson called and asked to speak to someone there. The person he was calling for was out of the office, so she asked if she could take a message. He said, "Yes, this is the President." She replied, "The President of what, sir?" He said, "The United States." Dick Clark said she nearly fainted!

I know if I were 20 years younger, you still wouldn't give me the time of day. But OMG I love you Ann (can't decide if I like you better when you talk baseball or when you talk dirty) :D
