Where did you get your flags? Is it double secret? Got any ideas on building a big old "It's Five O'clock Somewhere" clock?

I bought the Cuervo flag on ebay a few weeks ago for the summer concert season (it's much bigger than I thought, hope it flys right
)
The BN flag I had made. I'm sure some has picture of it flying they can post.
As far as the clock goes gimmie some time on that one, I'll come up with something. Chack with Charlie, those engineers are always good for that kind of stuff.
I'll be thinking of you too...Maybe I can get to 30'!

I just tried doing this yesterday and thought I would pass this along just in case you haven't booked your hotel and you got waaay back in this thread and read this... it doesn't work anymore as the Hilton has lowered their daily "net direct" price to $89.NJPhinPhan wrote: If you book your room on Hilton.com, you can get a "NET DIRECT RATE" of $125.00. Add the tax and whatever other service fees they feel they must addand it comes to $142.50. Book it and get your confirmation #
Now, go to Hotels.com and for the same night, June 29th, the room is $109.00....$122.50 with taxes and service charges (make sure it hasn't changed before you book Hilton.com though).
Go BACK to Hilton.com and on the home page, you'll find their "Best Rate Guarantee", which means that if after you have booked your room, you find the price advertised on the net for less, they will lower your rate AND give you a $50 American Express gift check.![]()
All you have to do is fill out the online claim form within 24 hours of making your original reservation at Hilton.com (make sure you have your confirmation #!) and send it in. They will get back to you in less than 24 hours, tell you that they have lowered your rate and when you check out, the $50 check will be Fed Ex'ed to your house!
That makes the $142.50 room go down to $109, minus $50 = $59!

Meet-up?
When is everyone meeting up to head to Camden?
My wife and I are going (this is my 11th JB show and her 5th) and we'd love to come and hang out for the day...
We will probably bring (as is our norm) an Igloo cooler full of margaritas.
Let me know...
thornton_thomas@hotmail.com
... or on this thread.
Thanks.
PS: BTW, here I am at Camden 2001 (Under Umbrella w/ Corona).

I also considered a BN flag last year, before one was actually done. I wanted to pass it on from person to person so that it flew over every parking lot at every summer show. Have someone from each show sign and/or date it.NYCPORT wrote:Just look for the Buffettnews flag and the NEW Cuervo Nation flags flying on my 25 foot pole.rednekkPH wrote:Somehow, I don't think we will be too tough to findJ.LeP wrote: I will search high and low for you folks on the parking lot.
Maybe I'll explore that idea again since Camden is the first official summer date.

ummm....uh...........
does anyone want to trade 2 lawn seats for 2 seat seats?
How bout for money?
OK, before yawl start scratching your heads wondering why I asked such a doofy question............
I was in Mexico two weeks ago and had a terrible cha cha teacher one night at the bar. Well, I guess I didn't quite get the hang of the whole cha cha thing cause it seems that I may have cha'ed instead of cha cha'ed and tore bout everything to pieces in my knee. I'll be having surgery next week and at first my biggest fear was how to get from the parking lot to the venue. But I knew that my friend NYCPORT would carry me anywhere, come hell or high water so that fear was put aside.
NOW...I have the little problemo of standing on the lawn and basically, I don't think that's gonna happen. Been there, done that and with one leg and on crutches...ummm...please no.
Now maybe, I will be alot better than the doc says I will be but rather than take the chance, I figured that I'd see if anyone wanted to be the luckiest person in the world and be up on the lawn instead of stuck in their own crappy, horrible seat (Matt).
So feel free to start in on the whiner
topic now but if you do indeed, not want your seats, I would be more than happy to take them off your hands (Matt).
And if not, well.....anyone want to buy 2 lawn seats?
