If anybody is watching locally, please post updates if you have the time.

Channel 7: no real news, just that the hearing took place and that the license to play fenway was applied for, but still several sticking points, as we have heard, over tailgating. They said another month for them to make the final decision?!?!

OK so they just heard arguments for and against and it was mostly over the tailgating. Red sox say they will make plans for it neighbors say no way. They have 1 month to make up there mind (the board that gives out the permit) and they cant put tickets up for sale till they say so.

If there's a left-handed man in a right-handed canoe paddling up a waterfall and the doors pop open and the balloons escape, how many pancakes does it take to cover the roof of a doghouse?

I like the whole leap year thing... it's the world collectively saying "Hey, we screwed up when we made the calendar, so we'll just add a day every four years and keep it hush hush."
