I'm probably not going to see this tour but I do appreciate all the hard work you've done in keeping everyone updated. It hasn't gone unnoticed.

Thanks Jah. No hard work, just sharing details as they're shared with me. I just realized when I originally posted dates, I didn't have the venue for Chicago. Though I'm sure many of you had already guessed, it will be at the United Center. More to come...

Any speculation on who's gonna open for them?

Sammy's good buddy Jerry Cantrell (the love of my life) would be cool as hell!

Axl Rose opening up for Van HAGAR will never happen. Mr. Eddie "I think im god, but just to afraid to admit im a loser" Van Halen, would never go for it, It would go back a page to the Dave era, and Eddie dont want that anymore.

True and for the record it was meant as more of a joke because of Axl's recent, past and continued pyscotic behaviour.

It pays to check back frequently with Ticketmaster. Van Halen tickets for Worcester (Boston) went on sale this past Sat. @ 10 AM., I woke up late, all thet was left was nose bleeds. On Sunday I checked back I got 2 tickets on the floor section 2 about 15 rows back. Later that same day I saw that they had added a show. I always thought it was a bunch of crap when they said they release tickets at lated dates.

yeah i wish i could afford to go. i have been a VH fan since 84. and seeing my favorite vh line up back is like a christmas present to me. it kills me that i cant afford to go, with the wedding this summer i decided that i should only go to one concert this summer. so i said that whatever went onsale first vh or buffett thats who i would go see and i am so glad i got buffett tix but oh well. next tour ill see vh, if it happens, or if i start making more money because ticket prices are outrageous.

I think the best way for our voices to be heard about high ticket prices is to just not buy them but unfortunately a lot of people seem only too happy to fork over the money. This doesn't help the cause any because it only gives the bands/promoters incentive to raise ticket prices even more. Last year when Kiss and Aerosmith toured together, sales were down around here (NC) so they reduced them significantly which helped move tickets. As long as people keep paying $100 per ticket and up for some of these shows without protest prices are only going to keep going up.
