I'll be in Hot-lanta, looking for the best tailgate spot. Can't "enjoy" the show too much though because I'm heading to Dallas for the Buffett/Strait/Jackson show.
Does anyone know if any of the Coral Reefers will be in Atlanta the night before and where they might be playing? I can't go to the show but would love to catch them if they are going to be around.
Goin' where the sun keeps shinin', through the pouring rain, goin' where the weather suits my clothes.
This will be my first time seeing Buffett in Atlanta. Seen him many other times other places, but the first I could get tickets to Atlanta. Only problem is that we wont be able to get there till probably 3:30, have to wait for my brother to drive down and meet us at the hotel. But we plan on making up for lost time as soon as we get there. Would love to meet many of you guys there. Will have my nametag on and ready to party.

Atlanta welcomes you! Hopefully we won't have the monsoon we had last year. Either way, it will be a show you don't want to miss. Something about the Southern Hospitality makes the show what it is.

well thank you for the early welcome. i got good news yesterday and found out my brother got the day off on the 26th, so we will be arriving bright and early that morning to tailgate. we are looking forward to it. Glad i have the Columbia show in a week to hold me over till Atlanta.
There is one little thing that I can't get off my mind. Does anyone know why the show in on a Wednesday? What happened to Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays?
Never been to an Atlanta show before ... What happened to Nashville this year??? anyway --- Got Chicago in August but trust me guys when I say ... we do party harder in the South (No offense to any mid-westerners) so I couldnt miss a show in my "own backyard" --- Obviously never been to HiFiBuys in Atlanta --- BUT after the Tweeter Center disappointment in Chicago last Aug. I'm scared of lawn sections now (after all these years cause their lawn had no dim lighting -- walked around for half the concert trying to find my way back to my group from the bar/restrooms) and was farther from the stage than I've ever seen anywhere) been as close as third row in past but we all know how much the ticket brokers violate us on seats like those ... anyhow, doin some ebay bidding -- Is the lawn at HiFi's reasonable or IN ALL HONESTY should I spend a "little bit more" just to have a seat I can find ... What do you Atlanta Vets say??? BTW --- what will all these famous tents look like (w/Rick and Cuervo)

HSV - Trying to find your group in the lawn is about like searching for a lost shaker of salt! We've lost several people over the years, you just have to be creative....now everyone in our group wears glow necklaces so we can find our way back easier. It also helps to get in early to try and get closer to the front. I like the lawn b/c we usually have a large group that couldnt be together if we were in seats. I would only buy seats if I could get really good ones at a decent price.
