What does anyone suggest is an appropriate time to insure a place in the dirt lot? :pirate:
I guess I stopped paying attention after about 12:00. Never have been shut out. I'll bet that with it on a Wednesday this year you should be have some more time but I'd try to be there by 2:00.

I'm maxing out all my vacation days for the two shows right before I head down under. However, I may get deathy ill and unable to work the second half of the day. I'm aiming for noon, but by the time I get everyone together it probably will be more around 2.

I will probably get there early to save a spot. Don't care if I'm sitting there with my tent and beer for a couple of hours. I'll just know the neighbors better by the time you guys get there. 8)

Small problem just came up; no more driver for the evning and the people I'm going with don't want to shell out $100-200 a piece for a limo.

I KNOW that I will not be in any condition to drive that night and my friends don't seem to understand how far it is from HiFi to Duluth. Any tour/shuttle buses of PHs heading down 85 with room for 4?

The Spondivit's in Cumming typically does a "party bus" for the JB shows. Still a little bit out of the way from Duluth but something you might want to look into. There might be other restautants/bars closer to Duluth doing the same thing, too.

Sounds like my kinda crowd ... you and NGA keep me posted. Nothing worse than being late when it comes to early morning beers in the shade with new phriends ...

I'll cover breakfast for everyone! If anyones on the Atkins - never fear I've got you covered -- Corona has plenty 'nuff carbs!!
Screw Wheaties -- now thats what I call a breakfast! :D

Here's something to do before the show: Hooter's at Cumberland is throwing a pre-concert party (courtesy of Z93), with the Atlanta Parrot Head Club. Not sure exactly what a parrot head party at Hooter's will be like, but it can't be bad.

I, and most of the rest of the APHC will be at Lakewood around 9am, assuming the gates are open. Since it's a weekday show, they may not open the gates as early as in previous years.

Oops! Forgot to mention that the pre-concert party at Hooter's is Saturday night, May 22, 7-10pm.

My experience has been that no matter what time they announce the gates will open, a nice long line of parrotheads forms on the road and eventually causes traffic problems. Next thing you know, the gates open earlier than planned. So forget about public transport and carpooling for one day and help build the line.
