Dallas Pre-sale Information

Post by finsup2k »

Ticketmaster is showing that the Dallas show will be on sale (pre-sale) on April 2, 2004.

Anyone know the pre-sale PASSWORD or sale terms? What's the deal with this?

It's has been "cheeseburger, parrothead, jimmy. It might be that. Or it could be something different. Good luck and type fast. Keep checking. Thats how the "word " gets around.

I found on the Alan Jackson website that they're advertising a pre-sale for fan club members (Platinum Club...or, some derivation thereof). Supposedly, for $15, you can get access to pre-sales.

I saw the pre-sale on Alan Jackson's site also. It says that you should receive the fan club packet in a few weeks. I wonder if you receive the login/password info. online after signing up. If not, you won't receive the packet in time for the pre-sale date.

Alan's presale is very weird. First you don't go through ticketmaster to get them. When you are a member you get a member card. On the day before the tickets go on-sale to the public you take the card to the box office and you can get up to 4 tickets per card. I know this sounds weird but that is how it works. I think it explains it on his website. As for the pre-sale on ticketmaster I believe it is George Starit Fan club pre-sale, all his are through ticketmaster. BUT WAIT, before you throw down the 20 spot to get in the club, it takes 4 weeks to ship the packet and you password is in the packet. So I guess all us parrotheads are SOL on this pre-sale!! HERE I COME SCALPERS, because we all know the good ones will be gone on Friday. Hope this clears up some questions.

Hey maybe Jimmy should do this. This may make it harder for scalpers to get most of the good seats. How bout this??

I am not even going to bother this year. I have no deisre to sit through the other 2 to hear Jimmy, no to mention I heard the ticket price will be around $125. It's a shame this will be the first time in 15 years that I have not seen a Buffett show. The last 2 years I have been lucky enough to land 2nd or 3rd row seats at Smirnoff through Ticketmaster.

I may show up to tailgate but that is it!

The presale password isn't listed here yet, but I'll keep an eye on it.

When I bought Alan Jackson tickets for his show in Nashville, it was just "Alan" he fan club has preferred seats, but he still uses ticketmaster for a presale as well.

Believe it or not I got my tickets at Foley's in Arlington, TX. I get there at about 4:00 am just make sure I am the first person there. 2 years ago I was in shock when she pulled 6 2nd row seat for me.

Last year they tried to do a lottery to determine your spot in line. We all drew our numbers but then we all agreed that we would keep our position in line based on who showed up first, that is why I love Parrottheads! Again they pulled great seats for, 3rd row.

That's the third person I've seen with that certain Password. I'm unable to attend that show so good luck to everyone on getting tickets.
