Aside from the usual Burgers, Brats, and Margaritas...anyone have any good ideas on other items to feed the phlock in the parking lot?

Our own "Cousin" Colin makes the absolute tastiest shrimp I have ever tasted! Maybe if you ask him nicely, he'll share the recipe.

I know Corona is a lighter beer, but you don't have to call it water!

also there is a place out of Oregon that puts oysters in a shot glass and
adds either salsa nothing or a cocktail sauce to the mix check your
local seafood supply ( ask at the seafood counter ) or call a full
service meat/seafood restaurant supply you will have to buy a case
but they should not be that much more than oysters in the shell.
they are way cool, no shucking and you will be a leader in keeping up
with the Jones.

We made these at an ASU game and they were great! Be sure to wear gloves when you handle the peppers so you don't sting your eyes later... we did the browing of the meat the night before, but sliced, stuffed and grilled there. You could do it all at home -- but the grilling -- to make it easier. YUMMMY. (We put a bunch on skewers)

STUFFED JALEPENOS

1/4 lb ground beef
10-12 popper size jalepenos
small onion
1 lb bacon
12oz - 1lb Monterey Jack w/jalepenos cheese

Chop onion and brown in small amount of oil. Add hamburger and brown and drain. Grate cheese and mix with hamburger. Cut top of jalepenos and core out the seeds. Slit down to 1/4 inch from bottom. Stuff with hamburger mixture. Wrap slice of bacon around popper. Stick with toothpick if necessary. Grill over coals until done.

We did a low-country boil before the show one year. It was awesome but we had lots of leftovers and the cleanup wasn't the most fun.

Beer Butt Chicken..........whole chicken cleaned, rubbed with your favorite cajun or carribean rub the night before....fire up the BBQ and open a can of beer...drink 1/4 can and shove the rest of the can inside the bird....use the can as a stand for the chicken to sit on the BBQ....AWESOME :D :D

Jimmy Buffett sandwich tartar sauce on the top and cole slaw
on the bottom of the bun use the onion buns for best effect.

Whty98: The bowl of fruit is greatly enhanced with a bottle of coconut rum. Our crew has found that melon works really well in absorbing the rum and it tastes fantastic.

Absolutely, positively must spike a watermelon with vodka, coconut rum or anything that tastes good with juicy, succulent watermelon. After a few slices, you look like this: :o
