I think it's a wonderful idea to take keets to the show. I have two boys 2 and 5 and this will be thier first concert.
I took my 5 year old to NYC last year for the Today show performance and he loved it. We stood in the rain for hours singing along and having a blast . In school at thanksgiving time the kids were asked what they were thankful for, mine said me taking him to Jimmy Buffet.
Good parents have answers for all the negative things that go on and know how to avoid most of the " bad stuff"
TAKE HER and make some memories kids are only 13 once

I have a 10 year old nephew that I have nutured (or brainwashed) into a huge Parrot Head. I am taking him to Tinley Park for is first Buffett show. He is very excited about it. Some of Jimmy's material may not be appropriate for little ears, but Jimmy may be done touring before he gets old enough to go. I don't want him to miss out on an experience he will always remember! Alpine Valley will still be our big boys and girl's show, but I want to share the Buffett experience with him at Tinley park.

I have to agree with all the people saying to take your daughter. My 4 year old is going again with my wife and me this year. This will be my daughters third show. She loves the show, the people and the experience. She, as I do, look forward to this every year. Jimmy won't tour forever and there will come a day when she will look back and say what a blast she had with her dad seeing Jimmy time and time again. 28 days till Sunrise, we can't wait.
