Glad to see your airfare posting...
Good to know there are other crazy people
who don't think we're insane to phlock to Dallas for one show!
We can't wait to meet everyone... only 4 more days!
Did you get a turkey fryer yet?
We have one... but it might be an odd item to check in at the continental counter...
However, we will get creative if necessary

Not that this isn't anything we don't already know, but I found this on the sponsoring radio station's website:
Jimmy Buffett, Alan Jackson, and George Strait will join together for the first-time ever this Saturday at Texas Stadium.
You may bring in your own food, grills and coolers as long as it remains within your own parking space.
To accommodate those fans wishing to come early, general parking at the stadium parking gates 1, 3 and 6 will open at 8AM on Saturday.
All other stadium parking gates will open at 11AM. General stadium parking is $10. The doors to the stadium will open at 3PM and the music begins at 5PM.
For guests wishing to camp on site, the Bus lot west of Loop 12 will open at 8AM on Friday, May 28. It will be open for two days. The cost is $75 per day.
No coolers, chairs, umbrellas, blankets, large bags or audio/ video recorders will be allowed inside the stadium gates. All purses and bags will be subject to search.
It kicks off with Alan Jackson, followed by George Strait, Jimmy Buffett and will close with an extraordinary finale of all three.

Most venues say they don't allow cameras of any kind, video or still photography. I always try to bring a disposable camera in with me, if I get caught it's only about $7 or $8 and I just toss it in the trash. Saturday night in Columbus a lot of people in our section had cameras, including a view with digital cameras, and the security people never said anything. I guess it depends where you seats are too. If you're up close there's always security at the front of the stage and they might give you a hard time, especially if you're using a flash.sticks34 wrote:Does anybody know if we can take a camera into the concert? usually they don't allow it but there are ways to sneek one in. I'd sneek in a new one in case you loose it to the security people you won't loose pictures of the tailgate
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.

Spainjane - got the turkey fryer at Lowe's last night. Just need to get a refill for the propane tank - I'll do that after work when I get the slip n slide.
I've got 2 boat trailers in front of my house now, along with the 55-gallon drums. The Buffett pile is growing in the living room as well.
