What is the first JB song or CD you pop in when it's escape time after work??? As of late, mine has been CILCIA (entire CD). In 40 minutes I have traveled to the far side of the world (and the evening news hasn't even come on yet)!!!

If I want to stay sane, I must listen to trafic radio.

'Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays'
Starts and picks you up with Fruitcakes (a great version I might add) and sets you back down with Love and Luck. Great CD!
Hopefully Fruitcakes will come back in 2004

After work I'm usually nodding out on the train, the only advantage to traveling on the Long Island Railroad.

Every damn magazine that rates citys and such puts our area in the top 5 worse traffic. It is deserved. The powers that be around here have screwed it up every chance they've had.

A1A & White Sport Coat.
Traffic; try Boston with the Big Dig and the Democratic National Convention, I avoid it like the plague. The worst is Friutcake City (NYC) I don't see how people live there.

The trick is not to drive
ANYWHERE in NYC, take the subway. Anybody who drives into Manhattan during rush hour should be institutionalized.

You haven't truly lived until you've navigated a dreaded Jersey circle, especially one just outside of a shore point on a Saturday evening in July.

I can't imagine anywhere worse than Chicago, but I don't get out much!
(I'm talking traffic, not the band Chicago - although I don't have anything by them on cd, I did have a few cassettes in my collection!

I like to take a few songs off each CD and burn my own custom works

Sidew13, I know you couldn't comment on your traffic situation... I have relatives in Greenville and I think rush hour may be a window of 15 minutes!

ummmm I hate to break it to ya, But I live in Pickens. I'm 20 min away from G-ville, and I don't have to worry about those traffic jams. My problem is when farmer Brown is driving his tractor on the road.

I'm very envious... my work is located exactly 29 miles from my dorstep and it takes me 1 hour and 15 minutes...

Ah, the pleasures of rural America
I drive 8 miles to work and it takes me approximately 15 minutes. I don't have a lot of listening time in the car, but lately it's been Barometer Soup.
This week it's been lots of JB as I'm on spring break
We "country folk" would go permanently insane driving in Boston, NYC, or DC - kudos to those who can handle it!!

We had a horrible traffic jam on my trip home tonight, 2 tractors and a horse and buggy.
It takes me about 30 minutes to drive 23 miles and I am never without my Jimmy tunes; currently alternating between Feeding Frenzy and Banana Wind.

Tell me about it. My sister went to NYU, I was there a few times about 8 years ago it's crazy, I would park my car in the garage on Friday and not move it until Monday. I drove on the outskirts on the way to Camden in 02 I thought I was going to go crazy, or have a fit of road rage because I thought I was going to be late for the show. Made it on time only an hour and a half early though.
