From the Pittsburgh Post Gazette Wednesday April 7th

Classic-rock fans will be pleased to know Clear Channel has added shows by Skynyrd, Styx with Peter Frampton, Kiss and this year's version of the Allman Brothers Band, which, judging from its latest live release, should have no trouble adding to the Allman Brothers legacy. There's no surprise in the announcement that Jimmy Buffett is coming (with a date to be announced). The only shock is that it hasn't sold out yet (with an additional date to be announced).

What???

Is that sacasim about it not be sold out because his show sell out in 10 minutes. The additional show thing is perplexing but could be very exciting news.

Yeah, I'm remaining optimistic. It really seems as though the whole Boston debacle is at the root of the delay. I woudn't be surprised to see the rest of the summer get scheduled pretty quickly once things get ironed out up there.

Till then, we'll just keep the CD's spinning and the drinks flowing.

I think the "additional date" relates to the on sale date which has not been announced, not that Jimmy would be playing two shows in Pittsburgh.

Buffett, may be playing our venue on September 2. Keep in mind, there
is a possibility that concert date can change. I do not have a confirmed on-sale date for tickets.

I keep seeing tickets available from brokers and on Ebay for 9/2/04 show in Pittsburgh, but neither ticketmaster, nor margaritaville, nor the web site for Post Gazette Pavillion have any information. Does anyone have any credible info if the show is for real and if so, when do tix go on sale?

We went to the Breakers' Benefit Show (which was great, by the way) and when we were leaving, Amy Lee (I'm pretty sure) was walking right in front of us. My bf asked her why they weren't playing in Pittsburgh this year, and she said "I think we're playing in Pittsburgh in September."

Relax, Buffett hasn't missed a show at Star Lake since it opened. I`m guessing September 2nd
