I guess ya'll know that I meant "without being judged." I can just add that to the long list of things that went wrong today. I sure hope tomorrow is better!
And all across the harbour
Night lights shinin' in
It looks just like stars on the water

Big fan of having his music just cange the whole attitude of the day when things get sour.

Castro is still playing in Cuba, but the homefield advantage isn't what it used to be.

Buffett's music takes me to places I want to go but can't. Whenever I've had a really bad day or when it's cold, snowy or rainy I just pop in a Buffett tune and my trouble's leave me for a little while. Come Monday is the song I listen to most when I'm in need of a pick me up.
Everyone believes in something, I believe I'll have another beer.

Crazy because these songs help get us through rough times?

Sign me up for THAT card!! :wench:

Crappy days, Divorce? I can top you all! If it wasn't for Buffett I wouldn't have emerged from Y2K intact (I was going to say 'sane', but that is still open to question) I lost my job, , moved 250 miles away, and my husband died. I got through with 'Love and Luck" "Lovely Cruise" and many cruises to OPH.

The first solo outing - two weeks after the funeral - was Alpine Valley.

And a good time was had by all - including me!

Finz up!!

Yes, we all have good days , and bad days  and going half mad days :x !!

For me a BIG point of Jimmy's music is its ability to lift my spirits. One of the best songs for that is Lucky Stars. Makes me remember that (so far) I've been incredibly blessed, and life's little inconveniences are completely insignificant.
Any music that can put a smile on your face when you're feeling down or things are not right, well, that's just something incredibly special.
