I was trying to stay out of this mess but I have to agree. I sold some Dallas tickets to a friend for half price because he couldn't afford face value. If he couldn't go I was going to offer them here. Friends help each other out when they're in need - that's just what they do. You're not going to make any friends by attacking what they love. That goes for here or anywhere else.kurt wrote:Yeah, I would suggest that he chill out and go to a show but wait a minute... he does not have a ticket. If the little keet would go to the Ticket Exchange link going to Charlotte, I'm selling a ticket that I bought for almost $60.00 and yet I'm only selling it for $25.00. ...let me see if I remember what I wrote a few weeks ago...(I'm selling a ticket at a loss to) "let someone else who couldn't score a ticket/ or on a budget enjoy the show".

It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

I guess I didn't. But I have since added to that other thread. So you do not have to waste time looking, I'll repeat myself, I think Ashtray is the same frat boy who pee'd on my leg two years ago.

Apparently you've mistaken me for someone who gives a s***!ashaway1 wrote:Hi all first time poster, I am replying to the post about how many times you are going to see jimmy this year and it upsets me when i see people going 4 or 5 times a year. I try to go to the great woods show every year but it sells out quickly, and frankly its not fair that some people go to see him that many times when those tickets could be going to first timers or people who can only make it to one show a year, come on people let some of the others have a chance. this doesnt jsut happen with jimmy it was near impossible to get tix to u2 becuase so many people follow them around teh country

Please excuse my ignorance cause I don't post here very often, but I do read it alot.
I skimmed over most of the posts in this thread and I didn't see anyone ask the obvious question.
If ashaway had the means, and the time, and the ability to score tickets to more than one show. Does this mean he wouldn't do it? Uhh, doubtful.

dear cubbie bear
i sincerely apologize for urinating on your leg years ago. please accept my most sincere of apologizes. in my drunken stupor, your pasty white leg looked just like a urinal to me. if i had known it was your leg, i would have much rather just dribbled down my own leg then inconvenience you by tinkling on you. once again, i am so so sorry and it will never happen again.

Hi my name is Ross and Im new here. How are you guys? I hope i posted this right.
Cubbie Bear wrote:Let me preface this with, I have always tried to be nice to the newcomers, I was one not long ago.
Now......it is none of you god d*mn business how many times some people go, That is their right. I would go to more than Alpine every year, if I could swing it. Hopefully the moon and stars will line up correctly and I can go to a Chicago show for the first time since 1984. Yes. I have been going to shows since 1978, I paid $7.50 for the first freakin show. Don't matter, that day is gone.
btw, I have not bought a ticket from ticketwhore since 1992. I go to Alpine without and have always bought in the lot. As good as 8th row. If you have the will, there is always a way.
That being said, Welcome to BN. We are by and large a very nice group. For future reference, if you plan on hanging around. "Hi I'm (fill in your name here) I'm new, how are you guys..." just might have been a little better way to introduce yourself.
What's so conveinient about Ticketmaster's convenience charge?
