Captain Tony's by far, Turtle Kraals is pretty good. Has anybody been to the after hours bar in Bahama Village it dosen't open until 4AM and I left at 6:30 and it was still going strong, I don't remember the name or if it even has a name. It was some sort of members bar/club it kind of looked like a house from the outside, so thats probably how they get away with it but for $10 you are a member for the night. That bar was great. My first 3 days of 14 down there were at the end of spring break the whole place was crazy those few days.

does it matter what bar you are in as long as you are in key west? we usually visit margaritaville, sloppy joes, capt tonys, green parrot and hogs breath..... we went up to the garden of eden not knowing its reputation, but it didnt take us very long to find out. now i tell anyone who is going to go to the garden of eden w/o telling them why just so they can have the same surprise i did!

I dont think so, I think thats on Caroline St. This place was in Bahama Village it was almost in a neighborhood near houses. It did have an outside deck upstairs on the front of the bar looking over the street.

teasers is the best of that bunch, but i digress...
i would have to say my fave. bar is irish kevins, tough to have a bad time in that place, brings me back to my heavy college partying days but still has just a touch of dignity...ok maybe it doesnt but either way...
garden of eden is an experience, when me and the ex-little lady went it was a geriatric convention up there (my apologies to the geriatric crowd on here) but if uv'e been to the garden u'd know what i mean..

Captain Tony's is my fave.
The first time I was in there I damn near had wood
fins26-
I know exactly what you mean about the Garden of Eden.
Basically it was a bunch of fully clothed dudes (including me) sitting around waiting for a chick to get naked.
Getting served by a nude barmaid aint so bad though, even if her face is a trainwreck..... but hey! who's looking at her face anyway?
And what's with a "do not stare" sign?
How can you not?

Does anybody know the name of bar across the street from The Edge, I think they played alot of jazz music in there? It's not that I'm a big fan of jazz but there were some good looking women in there and the bartender served us one night until about 5AM.

Green Parrot, Schooners, Hogs Breath, Bull & Whistle, and Captain Tony's are great. Any place you can wander into that has someone playing acoustic all day long is tough to beat. Irish Kevin's is great late night. Rick's is good for grabbing a beer and a slice in between all the other bars.

Gotta go with the Green Parrot. The "big name" places (Hog's Breath, Sloppy Joe's, etc.) are a little too touristy and often too crowded for my tastes.
I know, I know, my age is showing.
