This New Years I was in Cabo and met some fellow parrotheads, we were talking about Jimmy and his favorite venues. I said that he always ends or starts his tours in Irvine, CA because at the shows he says he loves us SoCal kids the most! BUT NO…. My new friends said that Jimmy loves playing Ohio the most.

What the heck, does Jimmy tell every city he loves them the most?? I am a little hurt!

Also, speaking of shows in California….when is Jimmy coming back??

His favorite is Alpine Valley Music Theater in East Troy WI...

He loves Pittsburgh the most of course.... he love's our blue collar work ethic and love for the good life and a good party. At least that's what he tells us.

Hey, did you go say hello to Mr. Cabo Wabo, Sammy Hagar when you were in Cabo? I'm a huge Hagar fan (kinda bummed but excited at the same time that he's back with the VH brothers). Did you go to the Cabo Wabo Cantina?

He does tell everyone that he loves them the best but I think he loves the Indiana and Ohio shows the most.
I guess to get the right answer you would have to ask Bubba himself. I will always say that the crowd has little to do with it though. It is all about the surroundings and loyalty of the fans. Just my 2 cents though.

Buffett's "I love (insert your town here) the most" is the cliched equivlant of the "Hello Cleveland" slipup when a performer is actually in another city.

Sure, he LOVES them all, or he wouldn't keep playing there. I don't think that's cliche.

However, only 1 is his favorite!!!!! Alpine!!!!

Camden.....cause he hasn't left it off his touring schedule!!! I wish he would of liked the PNC Arts Center thou, its more local for me. I think he also digs MSG, to get a taste of the big city.

You're all wrong. He loves Boston/Great Woods the most. They have "the best parking lot on the tour" and when he gets up on stage it's a "magic moment".

However, when I lived in Chicago, his favorite city was, of course, Chicago.

I always wondered how he knew which place had "the best parking lot on the tour". It's not as if he spends a lot of time out there mingling with the hoi polloi.

I live in the real world and I know he doesn't care for Michigan's outdoor venue, DTE(Pine Knob). I think the only comment he made was last year was "boy, it stays light here realy late". It was the best he could do.
