So, I axed myself, "what exactly are Peabody Ducks" ?

That is hilarious. However the price on the whole thing is a little bit of a stretch just to see silly ducks. Thanks though.

Peabody Ducks originated in 1930's MEMPHIS Peabody Hotel when some drunken duckhunters brought back a few live mallards and plopped em in the fountain in the main lobby (great place to drink and girlwatch-just don't do the mint julep-the sugar will take the enamel off your teeth.
they have been there ever since-cept while the hotel was closed in the late 70's. they are a daily show with a red carpet and 'guide' who escorts em from their air conditioned/heated penthouse to the lobby fountain and back.

It really is quite a show. When I was there (not a paying guest-yikes!), the children LITERALLY sqealed with delight! I wasn't too far behind them. It's just FUN!!!!
