Going to see the comedian Ron White this evening. He's the first dude on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour movie. Should be pretty dang funny! Anybody else been to one of his shows?

Saw him last month in Nashville, TN. Hilarious. Slightly more risque than the Blue Collar Tour. I was right next to the stage, and when he told the joke about the chocolate-flavored ...um... manstuff, he looked right at me and I was shaking my head, YES! He got a big kick out of that, said, "Yeah, you like that, huh?" Needless to say, my jaws ached after the show, FROM LAUGHING! :o One thing I did notice: he talked faster in real life than the tour video. He had just been newly married for two weeks at the time!

I've heard him on Bob and Tom and he's freaking hilarious. I'm guessing it'll be a helluva show.

Never heard of him, I think I need to catch up on my pop culture. But I went to a comedy club after work last night, a guy who used to work in my office is also an actor and comedian.

On Martha Stewart: If you have to be someone's b**** in jail you might as well be Martha's b****. At least you'll have curtains.

On Kobe Bryant and the $4 million ring he bought his wife: If I caught my wife with another guy and there was $4 million on the table I'd tap her on the shoulder and tell her to take a break while I hop in. I'm not gay but for $4 million I could be confused for one night.

On Queer Eye For The Straight Guy: It's a very informative show. I learned how to make a mojita. And blow a guy.

CD and show are hilarious!!! Certainly not for familys or anyone who is offended easily. I saw him in Duluth; down the street from his current home.

If you go to a show, go to the first one of the night because Ron LOVES his scotch.

I caught the Comedy Central show last night. He had a little more material (but also a great deal was edited) compared to the live show in Atlanta.

You could tell it was an older routine because he claims that he no longer smokes cigarettes. Now he sticks with cigars and only to "pace he routine."

I've seen him on TV, but not live. Curious to know how many times per show he fills up the scotch glass?!?

Funny you should ask. When I saw him in Duluth, GA (Atlanta) he finished off a glass in the middle of a joke. He stopped the joke to comment on his problem. Then pulled a flask out of he jacket and said the problem was solved.

The first glass lasted almost half the show. The second did not last so long. This was his second show of the day so who knows how many more he had that afternoon.

Also, he has heard "that some people think [he's] not really drinking scotch and soda and they are right; sometimes its scotch and scotch."

Ahh, no need for stage hands - he does the 'self-service' lane! Thanks for sharing that!
