Background hum while recording

Hey all,
Wondering if any of you get this too. When I record using Total Recorder there is constant hum in the background (not too bad but still). Did not hear when listening directly to the stream, just on the recording. Here are my settings:

Using high Real Player stream
Recording to wav - PCM 48000 kHz, 16 bit, Stereo

The processor is pretty fast and I have plenty of RAM. The hard drive is a 7200 RPM IDE drive.

The sound card I'm using is an NDIVIA nForce.

Any help appreciated. Thanks...

What RM stream are you using?

I got the hum a couple shows last year using Real Player. But 99% of the time I don't have the problem.

Real Player High stream. Like I said it's not too bad, but just curious if I could tweak my settings a bit. Ah, maybe I'm too much of an audio perfectionist :D

I know! You need to stop humming to the music while you're recording!
