I do not know what the Niners were thinking they took
QB in like the 5-6th round and it wasnot the kid from
Boise (who is a Nor Cal boy) and had way better numbers
well come on better numbers than most of the QBs in the draft
and his team ranked up very high in total O the last three years
I know there was an incident with a DUI (not drinking) rumor
around town was GHB but that was 2 years ago and no
repeat issues. I mean give the kid a break :o

All I can say is that I KNOW that Bill Parcells knows more about football than I do so trading away our 1st round pick must make sense on a grand scale. Who am I to question Parcells' judgement.. :-? :-?

My Titans filled some needs. They graded out pretty well without having any of skill players that tend to inflate the ratings. When Steven Jackson was still on the board prior to the 24th pick, I was starting get a little excited. There are some questions as to whether Eddie George will be back. I am just thankful Chris Perry wasn't around to waste a pick on. It looks they made a smart move trading their #1 for 3 additional picks since they was speculation that they would take Troupe in the 1st round (another damn gator!) At least they took home town/state boy Troy Flemming late.

Titans got a good running back, something they needed since Eddie George may be leaving. Otherwise, who knows? These college boys sometimes crumble under the big time NFL.....I can name names!

I think my Chargers did OK (better than most), but then again I thought Ryan Leaf was going to be the "Quarterback of the Future". They addressed some (but clearly not all) of their needs with, what look like, solid picks. The others I hope will be addressed in free agency. As some guy named Buffett says: "only time will tell".

I'm really sorry you ever felt that way...

and I'm glad the Colts didn't think that way!!!

My best friend (who went to WSU when Leaf was there) used to keep a pair of Leaf's girlfriend's underwear in his drawer... souvenir I guess!

Looks to me like the Falcons did pretty well this year. Obvious needs were filled with very capable players. Alot of fans are questioning the #3 quarterback pick but there wasn't much choice after alot of veterans were spoken for. There's gotta be someone behind Vick that can carry the load and hopefully Schaub will do a good job. Plus, you never know what will happen with free agency in the next couple of months.

Pittsburgh fans don't even know yet. I'm sure there will be many detractors from this statement, but Ben will be at Peyton Manning status in 3 years. And that's not a prediction...that's a guarantee!

I like the JETS first few picks, but as is the usual routine with them, they will all turn out to be stiffs and will be off the team in 3 years. :(

Does that mean we have to wait 4 years to win a playoff game :o

It's only been 24 years since they drafted a QB in the first round, I hope they've learned something since then :-?

I can't guarantee playoff wins... but when Ben becomes what he is destined to become, playoff wins will be very probable! :D
