Is it still suppose to be the first week or so of June? Any track listings besides, LTC, Back to the Island, Scarlet Begonias, and Coast of Carolina? Any news on who is deffinitely going to do a duet with Jimmy besides Kenny?

A couple other songs that I have heard are supposed to be on there are "Anything, Anytime, Anyway" and "Piece of Work." In the latest Coconut Telegraph it mentions duets or collaborations with George Strait, Clint Black, Nanci Griffith. I have also heard rumors of Toby Keith, AJ again, and Martina McBride

Here's the info I had from Mailboat as of 3/24...

LTC will be released early June and the Live In Hawaii disc will arrive shortly thereafter.
I've tried repeatedly to get a track listing to no avail. I have heard a RUMOR about a possible trio tune with Buffett, AJ and George Strait. I can't get confirmation, though.

Lets pretend that Mailboat isn't releasing the album. When does a normal record label issue a release saying when the album will be out, how often before its release in most cases?

During one of the new songs from Raleigh, Steve on RM said the album release date had been pushed back to July.

I think I heard Jimmy say during the Tampa show that it would be out in July.

I think the tour is going to be over before the cd is released.

Is there something severly wrong with Mailboat?? I mean this album has been in the works for how long?? We had major problems with the previous live albums being distributed in our area, maybe this is the real problem. It seems kind of redundant to me to release the Tiki Time finale in the midst of the current tour, but hey what do I know.
Sorry this is what rum and coke does to me

This brings up and interesting problem if LTC isn't released until July. That also probably means no new live albums for a long time.
Why? Because he's obviously playing songs from the new disc at the shows on this tour. If he won't let RadioMargaritaville play them, then he probably won't put them on a disc either.
Mailboat is on record (for what that is worth) as saying Hawaii is going to be the last Tiki Time disc. And maybe that's part of the holdup. Mailboat told me that Live In Hawaii was going to be released on the heels of LTC. That didn't make any sense to me. Yes, a lot of Parrotheads would probably buy both. But one album would certainly hurt the sales of the other a little bit.
I suspect we'll see Live In Hawaii in May or June, LTC in July and live releases from the LTC tour no sooner than September or October.
Just a guess...

When he played it at Charlotte I think he said it was from the new CD. And he said it would be out in July.

July, this is unbelievable, what is the hold up now? Jimmy is really going to miss the "boat" on this one, summertime music release when summer is half over? For being a good businessman, this isn't a good business move.
Mr. Palmer, where did you get your info?

On RM last night, Steve H. mentioned that the album was due out in early July.
Me thinks that he might know what he is talking about.

This is my theory:
Right now Kenny Chesney has a duet out with uncle Kracker, that is climbing the charts.. They (Chesney's people) probably don't want Jimmy to release the album yet because the first single will be "license to Chill", duet with Chesney. So do you think that they asked Jimmy to postpone the release until July so people aren't overwhelmed with Kenny Chesney duets???
I also could be just a babbling idiot that has no clue what he is talking about too.....

Well, after this, Kenny's next release is supposed to be "Old Blue Chair" so I don't know if LTC is supposed to be the first single or not. Nahsville Insider, a very reputable country radio news provider lists a trio with Jimmy, Alan Jackson and George Strait to be the first single released in "late spring."

Hmmmmm... Good info....
So what you are saying is: I am a babbling idiot that has no clue what he is talking about too.....
It's just weird to go out on tour, and not have the album accessable to fans... You would think that would hurt record sales.....
