This site is addictive

Post by phlisa »

How do any of you work? I haven't done anything today but think, read and post Buffett. I read the thread about what everyone does, so I know we all have jobs. Do any of you have this problem? I have been completely unproductive today and since I have billable hour minimums I am going to have to work the weekend to make up for it. I guess you guys are just too much fun for the middle of a workday day. I am going to have enforce a self-imposed BN max time on my posting.

Work is a four letter word around here. Find a place that allows you to surf all day :D That's what I did :pirate:

I can surf all day if I want but then I have to work all night and on weekends. As you can see, my self-imposed ban did not work. Help I am addicted to BN and I can get off! (If anyone reponds to that last part inappropriately you're in trouble. I have read enough to know that I should probably re-phase that but I will trust that maturity will prevail- do I trust too much?) Ok, at 3:00 I will log-off. Wish me luck.

Oh my god. She didn't just say the "w" word did she? ;-)

I agree with 12vmanRick. Find a job that allows for such productive activities as conversing with your fellow Parrotheads.

Thanks to Bn, I lost my job and I sit in my underware all day with a shirt stained with spaghetti sauce an coffee. I haven't shaved in a week and my best friends all day when my wife is pulling in the dough are cats!

Work is just something to do to pass the time between posting on BN and tailgate planning.

I have thought that numerous times, but apparently I lack self control.

I work in healthcare so if I slack off, people can die! So, I'd say that BN is responsible for approximately 30 deaths in my time here! Geez! Good goin' BN!! :-? :-? :-?

Ya see, phlisa, they never tell the newbies the truth. BN is worse than crack. They let you sign up for free, and post away and get hooked. What they DON'T tell you is after 100 posts, you have to start paying. They clock how much time you spend on the site and charge you. When you hit 1000 posts they take one of your kidneys. I've already had to sell 4 pints of blood, my high school ring, and Rednekk's immortal soul (didn't get that much for it) to stay on the board this week. Beware!!!
