Hey Y'all..
I came in to this too late..Without reading back, are there any SC Gamecock fans????
My daughter will be attending UF next year..and as bad as I hate the Gators..It just isn't as much fun since Spurrier is gone.....
I live in NE Florida..as NE as you can get and still be IN Florida.....But remain true to South Carolina....even tho my Uncle and both 1st cousins played for Clemson...I do cheer for Clemson when they are playing anyone but USC....
Later Y'all.....

My favorite teams are Clemson and whoever is playing USC. Who are your uncle and cousins, and when did they play at Clemson? How in the world can you have former Tiger players in your family and still pull for the Shamecocks? You must be the black sheep of the family.
You also have to admit that it is THE game of the year. I was at the game 2 years ago in the Shoe! What a game. In three years Tres. already has as many wins as Coop did in 11 years! Last year we just could not stop Perry but now I have to root for Perry because he plays for the Bengals.
I will be there again this year for the weekend. Hopefully it will be 1-2 for a trip to the National Title game on the line. If not then it doesn't matter because it is still THE game, The epitomy of College Football.
See ya at the Hiney Gate??? Ever been there for the pregame? Wow!

Not as easy to say that since we have gotten rid of Cooper. Tressel will
not be your whipping boy like Coop was. New era now in Buckeye land.
We're ready for the challenge B4E!
I respect Tressel and what he's done at OSU (You'd be ignorant to not respect someone with a NCAA title in his pocket), but I'm hoping he's used up all his luck the past 2 seasons considering all the 3 point wins and last second victories he's achieved.
Having said that, I'm not stupid! I know OSU gets as much talent as Michigan does year after year so I'm expecting a dogfight year after year............but hopefully we'll go into the snakepit this year and even the series with Tressel and start making him sweat like Coop did !!
Where were you??? Sounds like the Hiney Gate!!! And you still didn't get the picture. We REALLY DO NOT like that team from up north. As long as we go 1-whatever the season is a success if we beat scUM. Sorry but that is the way us Buckeyes view the game.

My Uncle played a loooonnnnnngggg time ago ...Frank Condon..("Fat Boy" Condon..I found some old News & Couriers one time and saw the nickname...
His son, Ted Condon...Can't remember when...Ted is 39 now...
My best friends son played for USC until last year..I had to pull for someone..I went to MUSC, and my dad is a Citadel graduate...Like I had a choice there!
So...it became the Gamecocks.....
I DO like Bowden though...Good coach...and I like his father too!

GO BLUE!!!
Made the trip in 2001 for the Saturday Night ESPN game against N'Western. Tailgated with some relatives of a friend in the parking lot at St.John's arean I believe. But we wandered over in front of the hotel and where the HUGE screen was set up and where the chicks in the hotel flash the crowd below and the bands jam.. Next to the 7/11 on Lane Avenue I believe.
Very Interesting!!!
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
Yep! that is what we call Hiney Gate. Great party. Danger Brothers play. Best time besides a Buffett concert. I wasn't at that game but I have been to my share of Hiney Gate parties.

That is funny as hell bahama and this is coming from a die hard VOL, any chance you can find one with them peeing on a Gator or Bama? I got a feeling after what happened this week in alabama with fulmer, when we play the tide there might be more than pee flying around neyland.
One month to go til kickoff!
