he's older than dirt and done more drugs than can be counted.he probably just didnt know where he was
hehe that's true ;)
I'd say that isn't true at all. Not all performers are entertainers in the same way say Jimmy Buffett is. Just because he didn't interact with the crowd is no indication whatsoever that he suffers from drug abuse or is too old to perform. I'm guessing ya'll just caught him on a bad night. I've seen many acts over the years that may of said little more to the audience than "thank you" but that doesn't mean they didn't put on a good performance.
JAH,IT WAS A JOKE.YOU NEED TO RELAX MAN
I'm relaxin' just fine, thank you. I just think that behind every "smiley" is a hint of truth or you wouldn't bother to post, not to mention someone else agreed with you. I'm just saying my Bob live experiences haven't been the same. He's like a new man since his heart scare a few years back.

I don't know how I missed this earlier but here goes...

1. Jimmy Buffett
2. Grateful Dead - haven't seen them without Jerry Garcia
3. The Band - saw them in 94 minus Robbie Robertson
4. Pat Green
5. Blue Dogs - little-known band from Charleston, SC with good chemistry and songwriting talent

I have seen four concerts in my life (here is the order from best to worst):
1) JB - Chicago 2003
2) Def Leppard - 1997ish
3) JoDee Messina - July 2002 at the Tropicana 400 (NASCAR)
4) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 1991ish

To my knowledge they haven't performed under that name since Jerry Garcia died. The press seems to of forgotten about it but they began performing under the name "The Other Ones" back in 1995 during the Futhur Festival Tour and even released a live album from it the next year. Personally, I wish they had stuck with that name but I guess "The Dead" is more recognizable to the public at large than The Other Ones.

I've got their latest album, Halos and Good Buys and like it pretty good even though it starts to get sort of repetitive towards the end. Still, I think it's a nice listen.

They've got several other studio CD's too, but none really do them justice - you've got to see them perform live to really get it. They're traveling quite a bit promoting the new CD, so catch them if you can - I don't think you'll be disappointed.
