There it is! I still have yet to see them, but have heard that they put on one of the best shows out there. They've gotta get back to the north east!

I have no list... I hate lists! :-?
BNL is great for a variety of reasons. They are extremely nice people. They are so funny - you're never sure if you are watching a band or a band of comedians. And they're great musicians, too.

It's too bad BNL hasn't caught on like they deserve. As their catalog continues to build and more people learn about their music, I think they could very well become my favorite live act.

I've seen them 6 or 7 times and would recommend that everyone go see them even if you think you don't like their music. I'll bet you are fan by the end of the show.

I would love to see them again but if I had my choice of one or the other, I'll take Buffett every time Image[/quote]

Buffett any day. Easy. There's no deciding.

That makes at least two of us but I guess that's why we're all here. I have to say that no matter what mood I'm in, there is always the perfect Buffett song to enhance it.

1) Buffett -- Of course

2) Jimmy Cliff -- AMAZING performance (if his last name was Buffett, it would've been #1 :D )

3) Kenny Wayne Shepherd w/ Double Trouble -- closet to seeing SRV I ever got. Not to mention, the guy can flat-out play!!!

4) CSNY -- Fantastic show, would like to see them all together again.

5) Eric Clapton -- Haven't seen him yet, but I'm going to his Madison Square Garden show, which I think promises to easily make this list.

Honorable Mention goes to:

James Taylor -- most laid back concert I've ever seen
Bon Jovi (can't believe I'm admitting this). They put on a terrific performance both in the 80's and today.

Probably the BEST show ever put on consistently is RUSH. Throughout a whole show, Geddy might say 10 words - it's all about the music, they are perfectionists and the quality of their music has not suffered in their 30 year existence. And the energy that comes off the stage...INCREDIBLE! :D

I would believe that!

The great thing about him is that he's got so much obvious SRV influence, yet he still leaves room for his own style. He doesn't get nearly the recognition he deserves (just like SRV, before we lost him). Go figure...

Clapton is great in concert. Unfortunately, I have to miss his Columbus stop this time around :(

And I'll admit Bon Jovi with you. I saw them a lot during junior high and high school. I decided last year to go see the Bounce Tour and it was actually quite entertaining. (by the way, if you are trying to relive the hair metal days - skip modern day Poison. Loved 'em in the 80s. They are really, really bad today in my opinion.)

I agree on modern day Poison. Loved 'em in high school. Saw a reunion tour 3 summers ago and it was OK. Can't seem to muster up the $12 to see them again.

They are on tour with KISS this year. Go figure.

Son of a Sailor, that Avatar of yours is great. When I saw that guy peeking out of his cube in Office Space, it reminded me of a guy exactly like that in our office! Keep that Avatar!
