CS --
Mac will be at Stephen Talkhouse September 3. But I just checked something. About 15 shows have already been announced at Jones Beach. Saturday June 26 is still open. Buffett's on the Today Show June 25 and his next announced concert is June 29 in Camden. Why not June 26 for Jones Beach? He'll be here anyway and Camden is only about 100 miles away, maybe less.

That would be a heck of a lot better traffic-wise... but hey, why not 6/26 AND 9/4

Anybody hear anything about season ticket holders getting a pre-sale as they did for Springsteen?

Thanks!

hmmm---Patriots on thursday night and Buffett on Friday. That's a great start to the weekend (assuming I get Buffett tix)

I'm still dissapointed in no Great Woods this year, but I'm sure after a few margarita's I'll be fine.
Indecision may or may not be my problem....

This is obviously way too early to talk about this but I will mention it anyway. But when Bruce played at Fenway last Sept. he recorded a very nice video recording of his show. It was aired on NESN out here in New England and also some clips from the show were put on a DVD. From what I saw of the DVD Bruce made Fenway was an awesome environment to record a show not to mention cameras are already set up in dozens of places around the stadium for Sox games which would make seting up a recording much easier. So maybe Jimmy could use this/these show(s) to make his first full concert DVD.

If someone already mentioned this I apologize.

I guess this is good news, but the 8 ticket limit and the probability of season ticket holders getting first choice seats probably kills my chances of getting to the show.
:(

I wish it were a 4 ticket limit.
If all else fails we can walk around the streets for 3 hours and listen. Hey, it wouldn't be tailgaiting.

I was at work tonight when I heard this announcement on channel 7 news and there was some additional info in the broadcast that I have not seen elsewhere. In addition to the dates, the onsale times, the 8 ticket limit, and the no tailgating... they also confirmed that Yawkey Way will be closed off and only ticket holders will be able to enter and that there will be no alcohol sold during the concert.
