Does this block legitimate pop ups (such as private message notification on this site)?

Yes, it does, but if you just check your "message count" at the top of the page,
you can see if you have any messages. I also have the email notifier set
so I get an email every time I get a PM.

I have the Google blocker and it seems to block about 75%-ish for me. There are quite a few that get through......

Gypsy, I know with Google a little message comes up at the bottom of your computer telling you that a pop-up was blocked and to hold the control key while clicking the link to "un" block it.

BUT you can click the button "Site Popups Allowed" & popups will be allowed "on that site" it remembers/ learns..
