Now that Fenway is a done deal.... what about Camden Yard?

Post by markymarker »

I remember awhile back on this site it was posted that after Fenway was finalized, Buffett was gonna do Camden Yard.... inquiring DC metro Parrotheads wanna know. I hope he does the Yard my sister will be 9 mon ths pregnant in July and can't make the Nissan show, but September would be good at the Yard. She introduced me to Buffett's music and concets 11 years ago and I have been hooked every since. At Nissan I will call her from the lawn and let her listen over the phone, its the least I can do. If you have any info I'd appreciate it.

Exactly what I was thinking. I just hope that Fenway and Jones Beach don't go on sale the same day.... I love Jones Beach, it is a great ride, area, and the venue is great espically with the ocean in the back ground.
The beach isn't to bad either.

Imagine all those parrotheads swarming all over the Inner Harbor! I'll be the first one there. Already have my room reserved at the Holiday Inn!

Linc

Post by SanibelIsland »

Actually there is a STRONG rumor going around that he may be doing the Linc in Philly. They are very proactive on bringing events to this new stadium. They will make it worth his trip. Plus the tailgaiting forget it. You are going to Eagle country there will be so much area you will not know what to do. But yes, The Linc is on the agenda if both sides can meet halfway.

WOW. That would be HUGE, Buffett at the Linc. You are right SI, no problem tailgating there. Where are your rumors coming from? I'll sniff that one out too!

Would Jimmy really take on a Staduim tour this fall?

While we're dreaming...forget the Linc, let's have him at Citizens bank Park... The sight lines would be awesome, the tailgate would be a great, and there are 40,000 seats!

Really, I don't see him playing any other shows in the Philadelphia area (i.e. Hershey or the Linc).

Counting the potential Jones Bech Show, there are already 3 shows within a 3-4 hour radius of Philly.

But hell, if he does, I'll have to make 4 shows this year!!

Can't wait, already trying to get tickets through some contacts in NYC!

I know there is a lot of complaining about no GW on Labor day, but what else can be better then seeing Jimmy play a concert on the water on Labor Day!

(And before anyone rushes to kill me for what I just said... yes I have been to GW and it will be missed. )
