Lots of people who wanted to attend Great Woods got shut out as well....and this happens at many venues around the country. Getting tickets through alternative means is an acquired skill that many parrotheads have developed over the years......those who want to attend the show will seek long and hard and eventually find them.....others who don't wish to attend will make no effort whatsoever and than blame Jimmy for scheduling the show at Fenway.
It is what it is.....please accept it and move on....there's hundreds of people on this board that would appreciate it if this was done.

Can I post there if I'm going in spirit?? I'd love to be there as I truly think these will be the best shows of the year....however, circumstances will not allow me to hit more than the 4 Buffett shows in my vicinity this year.photogal wrote:hey I made a funny and didnt even realize it.....heehee. I do wish everyone would just start posting on the whos going thread and come up with something good
However, I will definitely be listening to Radio Margaritaville those nites and imagining myself sitting on second base!

Buffett in fenway is a good idea, its gonna work out, just might be a little costly. There are more seats in fenway, meaning more tickets for sale, meaning you have a better shot at getting tickets saturday morning. The bar scene the day of should be a blast, thousands of parrotheads roaming the streets of boston. There are shows just a few hours away in new jersey where you can get your tailgateing fix in for the year, so lets make the most of this, i dont get the issue here, JIMMY BUFFETT IS PLAYING AT THE BEST BALLPARK IN THE WORLD.

I agree nobody got shafted
I have gone to Great Woods 5 years in a row IT IS GREAT, BUT it is not the end of the world if Jimmy does not play there. I will go see him play Fenway and it will probably be one of the most memorable concerts I will ever get to see. I hope he goes back to GW next year but if everyone keeps complaining maybe he won't come back at all. He has a right to do something different if he wants to. He probably dreamed about playing Fenway and now he will!! Why should we as fans say we don't want you to play where you want to. Go see him there at Fenway if you can it will be one heck of a show!!!!

It’s a semi-true story Believe it or not
