Never met the guy,,,he does not sign my paycheck or call or knock on my door. It's his opinion and probably a fair representation of many parrotheads. I had no opinion of him before..and have none now. Crazy aint it??

Sorry Marvin - but if you read the forum rules it requests that you search for threads on the same topic before starting a new thread. The reason for this is multiple threads use up bandwidth and when the bandwith has reached it's limit the site is shut down. Most of us don't want the site to be shut down. So quit threatening to start a bazillion threads and play by the rules so we can all play.

- No tailgating. I can always get ripped off in the bars or the ballpark.
- Jimmy putting off the CD and the book, again, because he's so busy with outside business interests.
- etc, etc, etc.
Somebody should publish a list of what's OK to talk about, who can talk about it, how much they can talk about it, and when they have to stop.

ummm I guess technically it was a new topic, unfortunalty it had the same underlying message. "We don't like the idea of Fenway". It's getting quite old... actually it was old 2 months ago. Try stomping your feet and throwing a tantrum... maybe that will make Jimmy change his mind.

PHJim has made the decision numerous times that the daily threads are okay. He did decide that the DGP thread served no purpose and should be deleted and no longer continue because, on sum, its cost in resources was greater than its contribution to the site.

He's also decided that repetitive threads on any topic, good or bad, are a drain on resources.

I'm sure he'd let you cover his monthly costs if you wanted to make up your own rules.

My apologies for straying off topic... Back to the point...

Steve's voice puts me in a coma. If he were any less lively, he'd be a corpse, I'm just happy that he said something interesting even if it was controversial.
