Steve's comment has nothing WHATSOEVER to do with maturity. It has EVERYTHING to do with good manners.
Essentially Steve's comment (if true) is simply another way of telling the fans, "if you don't like it, F-off."
I don't care how you "spin" this remark, there is just no other way to interpret it.

He's telling the truth. Jimmy's playing Fenway, not GW and we can't change it. Time to grow up and make our own decisions based on the realistic options presented.
Not sure why this is so tough for adults.

Yes, it sucks being told to act like an adult.

I heard the comment and didn't think twice about it until I read this thread.
I guess if he included the words "you all should be thankful Jimmy is still touring" it would have made it better or worse?
It sounds like what alot of you are implying is Steve Huntington cannot have an opinion and express it but you can? Try being on the other end of the non-stop bitching and bickering and tell me you wouldn't say the same thing. Thank you Steve for saying what a lot of us have felt and I for one did not take it as arogance.
I think we all need to get over it and be thankful Jimmy is still giving us live shows NO MATTER WHERE HE DECIDES TO PLAY and yes he has every right to decide where to play. Let's be thankful he has also given us the ability to listen to his shows thru Radio Margaritaville when we cannot attend. How many other artists do that for there fans? Hell if you remember a couple of years back he even tried to include some video feeds. Does he have to do any of this?? HELL NO, be grateful people not hateful

I bet Steve was using this tone to address certain arrogant individuals who feel Jimmy's tour plans should be developed to specifically specifically mirror their desires. Unfortunately, this goes out to everyone...but I've seen people on this board use tones they've never used before as well. The incessant whining and crying by a small percentage of individuals is just getting on some people's nerves and causing them to act in ways that aren't completely cordial. If the emails to Margaritaville mirror the posts on this board, than the way Steve reacted is completely understandable.

I was just saying it was kinda not like him. Please I would like to think I'm not whining. I want to go cause I do like Jimmy. I can tell you half of the people we usually go with wont go. We are now trying to get tickets saturday and figure out where to party before. I party some before every show I go to Jimmy or not. I make a night of it. And I think you will see alot of people who dont usually see Jimmy. We tried to ask several season ticket holders and they are going to go just cause they can and want to see what the fuss is about etc.
