Conch Republic Celebration in Key West this weekend....

We had the best time. The battle for the city was won by the residents tossing eggs and tomatoes at the Coast Guard cutter with the tall ships and the other locals defending the city. There were aircraft overhead dropping rolls of toilet paper on the ships below, getting the streamers caught in the rigging.... What a hoot!! The crowds on the docks at Mallory Square were into it-tossing tomatoes and eggs at the boats, carrying on like pirates. I'm making plans to go next year again...rent an airplane and fly over with about 20 rolls of Angel Soft!

OHHHHH I missed the stale part...you can still throw it in the microwave for a few seconds...makes it soft like fresh again!!!! DUH

last December we met the General of the Conch Republic Army (he works as a parking attendant) He showed us how to salute with the left hand so that you can drink with the right hand!
