Mulligans

Was talking with a buddy about playing golf this weekend and he said "We get a Mulligan a side, its the first time out"

That got me thinking, we had that worst song poll and Hokey Pokey or Elvis Imitator is probably one Jimmy would like to have a "Mulligan" on.

then the radio played "To All The Girls I've Loved Before" God alfreakin' mighty, I hope Willie would want a Mully on that.

What other songs out there do you think artists would want a "Do Over" or a Mulligan on??????????????

A few years ago, Charlie Daniels went back and redid a bunch of his old songs, but changed the lyrics to represent a more Christian lifestyle ("But I will take another toke" turned into "But I will tell another joke.")

Definate mulligan material

Amen to that! Nothing worse than hearing "I told you once you son of a gun..." during the encore :(

The entire catalogs of Billy Joel, Sting and Kenny G or anything else that qualifies for music for the Menopause Lounge and that's just for starters.

Yeah well, not every artist can consistantly crank out musical masterpieces like "Shiny Happy People" and "The End of the World as we Know it"

Both of those qualify as Mulligans. But you forgot "Stand".

SHeez. Only if you're retarded  (no offense if you are) and if you can't find anything to listen to by Sting or Billy Joel.

Oh I'm not retarded in the least it's just that my musical taste differs from yours, so it's no big woop. It's kinda like that Buffett thread where some people's least favorites were others most favorites and vice versa. I know some on this site would just love for us all to think alike but to quote another of my favorites, Mr. John Prine, our differences in opinion are a big part of "what makes the world go 'round". So, you listen to what makes you happy and I'll do the same...

Dear Abby, Dear Abby...

(not to be mulliganed - just singing out loud. And sing me a song, I'm the Piano Man! :D I love Billy Joel - not overly versed in Sting Or Kenny)

Mulligan... let's see. Anyone remember Mulligan Stew?!?

Heart "All I Want to do is make love to you"
The video does not tell a very good story either

And I love that band seen them like 25 times

That's a good one. I really liked that song when I was in high school though. Maybe that's a sign.

I've seen some upset rednecks leaving a Charlie Daniels concert for that! And if you think that's bad, you should see what David Allan Coe does now.
