More specifically, the Soggy Dollar Bar, where they played the entire Ballads CD while we drank Painkillers. ahhhhhhh

Gotta love a Puser Rum Pain Killer! The wife and I take a day sail from St. John to the Soggy Dollar and Foxy's every time we go. Thats just one of the many things that brings us back to St. John year after year.

I didn't mean to rub anyone the wrong way-I only call it that because everybody I know who LIVES THERE calls it that.
Would you like to come here to Iowa to live?
I didn't think so.
Jimmy hasn't played here since 1978

Like I said. 18.43° N and 64.71° W.
Foxy's was one of the highlights of that trip. We didn't make it around the bend to the Soggy Dollar, as it's hard to move a boat that big just to go around the other side, but we spent the night on deck listening to live music filter out of Foxy's after soaking up a few of the best Pina Coladas I have *ever* had onshore, with the smell of Foxy's jerk chicken thick in the air.
Yeah, Foxy has it *good.*

Saving my pennies to charter a crewed sailboat in the BVI next year. We've been to Tortola and Virgin Gorda on cruise ships. We love The Baths and we can't wait to visit Foxy's and the Soggy Dollar!

Key West hands down! It is the best. Not just for PHeads either. With the great food (Louie's is an obvious choice to JB fans, but there are many others, like the AB Lobster House or the little cuban restaurant that is a little ma & pop joint); the Partying on Duval ; the the hangouts like Sloppy's or Cpt. Tony's or Kevin's Irish Pub. You can't beat the atmoshere there. My Wife and I have gone 3 years in a row. The first was a honeymoon and the Key West B&B was a fabulous place to stay. The next year we convinced her family to go & they loved it so much they went the next year on their own. Then we took a group down. This is the best way to go if you ask me. 10 of us had a blast for 10 days in a row. Different party every night. Word to the wise...don't try slammin 3 Pirate's Punches cause they'll knock you out! In the words of JB....I wanna go back![/img]

Maui. My wife and I had the best week of our lives there, although it was marred by a tragedy...we were there on 9/11.

I love the BVI's -- Jumped Naked off the Willie T myself... Bushwachers, Painkillers... love the islands.
I, too, would like to charter a boat next year for my 40th b-day. Need to get on that now...
I also liked Diving in Cozumel, but the "above water" wasn't as great as other vacations.
I used to like to go to Scottsdale, AZ for vacation. Then I moved here.

What a great place to have an annual buffettnews.com retreat

I also love it there

swing in Hammocks, swim in the ocean, drink painkillers, ring toss game and do it all over again.

Yes, I agree there should be a phlocking in the BVI!!
Of all the tropical places I've been, I think it best epitomizes the spirit of Buffett and Parrotheadism. Laid back, friendly, casual, easy-going, happy . . . Most importantly, beautiful beaches, clear blue water dotted with sailbots, lots of great beach bars that aren't overrun with tourists and that play Buffett.
This sounds familiar . . . Boats, Beaches Bars and Ballads. The BVI is a must for all parrotheads!

My favorite places to vacation are the gulf coast of Florida and Punta Cana Dominican Republic. I've never been to the keys, but I want to go some day!
