Why is this good news for "true parrotheads" (whatever that's supposed to mean)? If it's true all it means is 1 or 2 fewer shows for other cities. Sounds like bad news for everyone outside the Boston area.

I would ask the same question. It's undoubtedly good for fans in the Boston area to have another show scheduled, but why so much more for "true parrotheads" (whatever that is...)? Am I not a "true parrothead" if I don't go drink myself into oblivion in a parking lot?

I like tailgating as much as the next person, but I reject the notion that a JB show is only satisfying for "true parrotheads" if there is tailgating involved.

For as much whining as "fans" in the Boston area have done in the last couple of months over the GW/Fenway issue, I wouldn't have blamed Jimmy if he scheduled an open date for the wilds of Montana instead of Great Woods....
